Stimulus Funding for Wastewater Infrastructure. How Much Is Available and What Could It Mean for My Community?

This webcast will highlight the pending stimulus package expected to be approved in early 2009. Funding of historic proportions is expected to be made available to projects across the country. Many WEF members have questions regarding project eligibility, application requirements, and the timing of the stimulus funding. Webcast participants will hear first hand from government officials and will have an opportunity to submit questions.

Modeling 101 - How to use Simulators in the Design and Operation of Wastewater Treatment Facilities

This Webcast will introduce participants to the basics of wastewater treatment plant modeling.  The Webcast will help answer the following questions:

What is modeling?

  • How can I use a process model to help me run my plant or design plant upgrades?
  • How do I carry out a successful modeling project?
  • How do influent characteristics affect model outputs?
  • What should I consider when selecting a process simulator?
